Clyde's First International Cache!

Canada was definitely on our wishlist for this trip!  We have been prepping for it for a while!  Clyde even got her passport.... just for our vacation/adventure!

Travel to the border was quite simple.... but then there was the actual crossing!  Not too bad... about 30 minutes.... which doesn't seem like a long time... unless you are excited!!

Gratefully, the park between the US and Canadian borders is immaculate and beautiful and that helped to take the sting out of the wait!!  We also caught sight of a great Canadian scout banner (which made these Eagle Scout Mommas smile!)

In the center park is a large monument... In the middle of the Monument is a set of iron gates that stay open to symbolize an open relationship between the two countries.

Then we entered Canada!

Our only MUST was a single signable geocaching log... ummmm... sure..... like we could stop at that!  Haha.  After two traditionals, we headed for the beach!  A nice seafood lunch was in order.  Great restaurant... amazing FRESH, local seafood and wine!

Then it was time for an earth cache... just a block or so from our restaurant!!   White Rock is a gorgeous little town with a nautical history.

Surprisingly, the water in the bay had retreated during lunch!

And.... Myth Busted... All Canadian Geese are NOT currently residing in Georgia... a few of them do hang out in their native land!

Back to the border... I jumped out and snagged the Peace Arch Virtual as Clyde inched the geo-mobile from one country to the next!  I have to admit... The questions on the virt were a little confusing.. Didn't seem to match the structure!

Back in the US, back in the US, back in the US*A... sorry Beatles... we Tick Magnets sing to our own tune/music!!
