Wining and Dining.. Enjoying the Day

We have been pretty food savvy in our travels so far... we haven't gone through a single drive - thru!  We all brought food to share and we made a stop at a superstore to pick up more fruit, lunch meat, and water.   It has worked out very well!

So, last night we treated ourselves to a stop at a winery and a nice buffalo steak dinner.  Now, that might sound a bit hoity-toity, but seriously... you know us better than that!

We were traveling down the road when a billboard caught our eye.  It was for a winery and their award - winning wine was showcased.   The wine is called "Red Ass Rhubarb Wine".    Sorry, but we couldn't resist!  LOL.... cue the googling and the navigators!

The winery was actually quite nice.  Swiz and I partook of the complimentary tasting and we walked away smiling... With goodie bags in tow.

Clyde isn't much if a wine drinker so she took to a different kind of shopping/collecting... Rocks!

For dinner, we chose a place called Bumpin' Buffalos.  It was recommended on a geo-buds Facebook page and sounded wonderful.  The place did not disappoint!   A local favorite is Chislic (deep fried beef tips), but we all chose the buffalo steaks instead.  I do have to admit though... a plate of Chislic ordered by the next table did look interesting and yummy!
