Paducah, KY... Who knew?

What an unexpected gem!  I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised by how quaint and interesting Paducah is!  Originally, our only goal for Paducah was to get Clyde to the National Quilt Museum, but we are grateful we were able to visit and also snag a couple of caches while we were along the riverfront!  Who knew such beauty could coexist with the only uranium enrichment plant in the USofA? ?

Got Uranium?
The Floodwall mural was incredible!  Scene after scene depicted life in Paducah through decade after decade!   We were lucky to catch a few local artists working on one section... a Harvey Davidson scene!

But really... As beautiful as all that was, listening to Clyde squeal when we pulled the geo-mobile up in front of the National Quilt Museum was the highlight of the stop!

Dear Paducah... We will be back... and on my newly established Paducah bucket list.... is a little quiet time in this little alcove...
