Mount Rushmore... A Moving Moment

Mt Rushmore is one of those places I could visit a hundred times.  It's vastness, the commitments endured in its carving, the beauty of the surrounding areas... I can't pick just one favorite thing about it!

This trip was extra special because it was Clyde ' s and Swiz's first visit to the Monument!

Our timing was nearly perfect.... although I would not have complained if we were able to stay longer!  We arrived shortly before the sun set and stayed to see the faces illuminated after dark.

It was a special treat to witness the military member tribute during the lowering of the American flag.

A special shout out goes to Swiz!  She accosted the perfect photographer to snap an after dark picture of The Tick-Magnets (*no photographers were harmed in the making of this moment!)
