SEATTLE or BUST! The Tick-Magnets are heading to Groundspeak Headquarters in Seattle, Washington, for the 2014 Block Party!  You can join our fun by participating in the Middle Georgia Travel Bug Race! Here’s how it works:

Pick out a fun Travel Bug vehicle (Match Box/Hot Wheels car) and attach your own a trackable dog tag.

Create a trackable page registered under your own geo-nick – make sure to note on the page that your vehicle is in a RACE (see below for prize categories).

ACTIVATE your trackable and bring it to our Seattle Send-Off event in August --- “drop” it at the event (do not take the trackable to any caches before the event … the event will be the first log).

THE   RACE     IS      ON!

The Tick-Magnets will take all TBs with us to Seattle and drop them in a cache there with best wishes for safe travels and great adventures!

One year from now (August 2015), we will meet again to give out some very cool prizes for the year-long race:

                        First TB to arrive back at Ga. Largest Ammo Can (GC3F3CW)

                        TB with the most miles logged

                        TB with the most photos added

                        TB that traveled to the most states/countries

                        TB that attended the most geo-events

                        TB with the most “Discovered” logs

                        TB with the longest single leap (distance in miles) between caches

So get your vehicles ready … Fill the tanks … Rev up the engines … We’re ready to ROLL!
